…then come and hear from industry leaders at our free modelling information evening on Tuesday the 20th of February 2018, 6:30pm at the Archer Imagery Studio, 2 Church Street in Northbridge.
The night will give you a behind the scenes insight into the modelling industry. There will be posing and styling tips, make up demonstrations, a talk by a fashionista who has worked on five New York Fashion Week catwalk shows, plus the opportunity to ask your questions from our panel of experts.
A little about us: Archer Imagery is one of Perth’s leading photography studios. We are totally independent. We not associated with any one modelling agency. We are putting on this information night for models just like you who are wondering if they have ‘got it’ and are seeking a bit more information about the industry.
There is so much more to modelling than just the supermodels in magazines. The night will cover a few of the different areas of modelling that you may not have thought about. It will help you to decide what to include, and what to leave out of your portfolio. It will challenge you with some homework to get you on your way in the industry, and most of all it will be a bit of fun!
One lucky attendee will win a full modelling portfolio with us! Including hair and make up, a 2 hour photo shoot, a portfolio design session, 12 digital photographs, and 25 comp cards.

Here are just a few of the industry professionals you will meet on the night:
Nathan:
Senior photographer here at Archer Imagery, Nathan has been working as a professional photographer in Perth and around Australia for the last 14 years. Nathan has been involved in creating numerous modelling portfolios and has shot for a variety of fashion brands. Nathan will be giving an insight into how to create a varied, industry ready modelling portfolio. He will also share some tips on how to pose to accentuate your figure and best assets, plus, he will be talking about what makes a model easy to work with from a professional photographers point of view.
Frances:
Frances is our amazing designer here at Archer Imagery. She has been working in the photography industry for the past 6 years. In the past 5 years Frances has been heavily involved in putting on runway fashion shows for the international brand Charles and Ron. Three at New York Fashion Week and one in Europe. She is currently planning for the New York fall fashion show in September. She will be sharing insights and stories from her experience begin part of casting for a NY fashion week show, plus what it was like behind the scenes at the runway show.
Ady Orupe – Stylist:
Ady’s knowledge, skills, and passion in making women look and feel amazing has given her an excellent reputation on the Perth fashion scene, interstate, and overseas. You name it, she’s had a hand on it: runways, magazine editorials, TV commercials, celebrities, music videos, and feature films. Ady is also a personal stylist for Westfield. Ady will be giving us an insight to her 20 years in the fashion and modelling industry. She will give us tips on posing and styling, and a few insider secrets on how to nail your castings.
Jayga:
Jayga is our local star fashionista. Having worked around the UK early in her photography career, Jayga brushed shoulders with some of the worlds finest fashion photographers. Having a keen eye on the pulse with new photography styles & trends, Jayga can create all sorts of magic with her camera. She particularly enjoys modelling shoots and makes it a unique experience every time.
Simone Elise – Make Up Artist:
Simone is a passionate make up artist who has worked all over Perth. Her style is fresh and fashionable and she brings a wealth of information on trends and make up and styling. Simone will be giving lots of make up tips, doing a make up demo on the night, plus chatting about what to consider when doing your own make up for a casting or photo shoot.
